This is a story worth reading if you care about your health, and our planet.
Zorro, the 21st Century, written in 2016/17 by Okay Jackson (yes, this is Forrest's mom), is a tale of accusation, punishment, and then vengeance (often fatal) against those who plunder the earth at the expense of its people and other living creatures.
While the characters in this environmental thriller are fictional, the research - on fracking, glyphosate, modern agriculture, and much more - is not. The research is extensive and accurate as the author, a retired multi-award-winning investigative reporter (and author of three regionally successful self-published books), used all her skills to present these issues in a way guaranteed to ignite the interest of her readers.
The book is full of twists and turns (even the character who becomes Zorro is a surprise) and it ends in a manner begging for a sequel. Please feel free to share this with anyone else you think might enjoy it.
