Connect, communicate, change, and grow.
"The secret to change is to focus all your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new." - Socrates
Change. Perhaps the Buddha said it best, "everything is impermanent."
Some of us love change; many others don't. Yet, in the workplace, as in life, change is constant. Organizational goals, policies, and people change with some consistency; how we adapt to change can make or break our experience. Admittedly or not, change is what makes so much of our experience interesting and worthwhile.
As a communicator, consultant, and coach, I help people and organizations connect, communicate, change, and grow. And, much of my work is helping organizations and people change, from successfully driving, managing, and adopting change, to ideally, embracing and thriving through change.
How? I ask "why" and "so what" a lot. I listen, observe, interpret, and synthesize. And then, I draw from the extensive toolkit I've cultivated over years of experience.
By nature and by nurture, I'm a communicator. I'm passionate about creating connections between people and the things that matter, and fueling our continual growth.

Why gulls, you ask... I love Jonathan Livingston Seagull. This modern-day fable by Richard Bach delightfully illustrates the journey, the hardship, and ultimately the joy a young seagull finds as he breaks away from societal norms and expectations to follow his passion and honor his dreams. It's a story of love, learning, commitment, and forgiveness. "Don’t believe what your eyes are telling you. All they show is your limitations. Look with your understanding. Find out what you already know and you will see the way to fly.”
And... they're long-lived, resourceful, inquisitive, and intelligent birds. And really fun to watch when you stop and take the time.
